Staten Island Zoo, 614 Broadway, Staten Island, NY

The tradition continues as the Rock-A-Silly Band return for the Staten Island Zoo's Spootacular, which is the island's largest Halloween-themed event. What will our costume theme be this year? You'll have to be there to find out! More info at StatenIslandZoo.org

Breakfast - and Lunch - With the Easter Bunny

 —  —

Staten Island Zoo, 614 Broadway, Staten Island, NY

Mr. Patrick returns to provide the silly soundtrack to this yummy event. Enjoy a delicious meal, and Easter egg hunt and, of course, a visit with the furry dude himself, the Easter Bunny. Please visit StatenIslandZoo.org for more information.

Empire Outlets

Our show at the lovely and super-exciting Empire Outlets complex got cut short this weekend when Mother Nature decided to rain on us halfway through the performance.   But not to worry!  We are back on Sunday, September 8th from 1-3 for Mr. Patrick's Birthday Bash!

Lovely Time Playing for Seniors

Yesterday I had the privilege of playing for a group of folks who live at an assisted living home, and, man, did we have a great time!   Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darrin, Hank Williams, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley were just a few of the artists whose songs we played and sang.   (Thankfully no one requested Baby Shark, though, believe me, I was nervous someone was going to.)   Cannot wait to play for everyone again!

Rocking Westerleigh Park

We had one heckuva time at last night's concert in historic Westerleigh Park>   (Did you know Teddy Roosevelt once gave a speech there?)   The weather was lovely, the dancing was wild and the fun was plentiful.   Can't wait for the next show!

Loving the New Audience!

Recently had the honor of playing for a different kind of crowd at an event for seniors sponsored by the Staten Island Giving Circle.  It was, in many way, a very moving experience, and I was humbled by how much the folks there were touched by the music.   Can't wait for the next show!

Separated at Birth?

Loved playing at the carousel yesterday, and loved meeting this celebrity: my brother from another mother, Scooter the Holy Cow, the mascot for the Staten Island Yankees.  Special thanks to my friends at Alpha Omega Insurance for throwing a bit party for the community.   They has over 2,000 carousel riders for the event!   #Wow   Alpha Omega Insurance is where to find this wonderful local business.

Baby Shark Mosh Pit

Things got a wee bit crazy at the Rock-A-Silly Band's show at Castleton Hill Moravian Preschool's end-of-year picnic last night; let's just say a new activity was born: the Baby Shark Mosh Pit.   What fun!

A Wonderful Welcome

How great is it to walk into a performance greeted by this???   My friends at Rainbow's Reach made me feel super special yesterday!

New Dorp Family Fun Festival

The weather started out dodgy but fortunately Mr. Sun came out and blessed us with some rays, so the New Dorp Family Fun Festival turned into one heckuva great time!   Here are some snaps to prove it.

The Easter Bunny Rocks!

I tell ya, there's nothing more fun than being the live soundtrack at the SI Zoo's Breakfast and Lunch with the Easter Bunny!   What an awesome time.

Spring is Coming!!!

In direct contrast to House Stark of Game of Thrones fame, on Saturday, February 2nd, Staten Island Chuck predicted an early Spring, to much fanfare and rejoicing.  The Rock-A-Silly Band provided the soundtrack to the festivities, and we even got to hang with congressman Max Rose and Deputy Borough President Ed Burke, who as peppered his speech with some of the corniest - and, let's face it - funniest jokes this side of the Mississippi.   Thanks, Chuck, for the hopeful forecast!
